My painting develops as a parallel strand to my printmaking. Each discipline informs the other. Most of the work on this page is abstracted from observations of how nature eventually reclaims and subdues human interventions, such as piers, jetties, coastal defences. Recently, the exploration of these themes has been through printmaking rather than canvas, however, new work is in the pipeline.
I also occasionaly make detailed figurative studies of plant forms, often set against an abstract background. These have been well received, but somehow have not recently found their way to the web!
